Yamaha - The Good Bad & Ugly

The Good -
Yamaha stopped Fazer 25 production due to bad sales. Why it was a good decision has many answers but to name a few and put the blame are below.

Design -
Somewhere between cost cutting and launching a sports cruiser with a 250 cc engine had a impact on the design. Very few people actually liked it. Rest were not impressed at all. One we are saying its a smart move to cut down the cost and give a fully faired bike. On the other hand we have the old Fazer 150 which still looks outstanding. Yamaha if you can take the Cues and go back to the design board.

The Bad -
Yamaha is changing the Fz25 design which too is a wrong decision when specially people started loving it. Don't beleive me go and check the sales. They should have kept the same design and launched the fz25 with the touring capabilities. Now the new looks are not digestible at all my personal view. Looks are subjective.

The Ugly -
Decision that Yamaha has not taken yet that is including the 6th gear on Fz25 and if possible increase the BHP. As the competitors all of them are giving 25 and above bhp. It's the segments which demands for the power it deserves. Top speed at 131 Kmph do not stand anywhere in the front of blood hungry competitors.

Lets just say Yamaha might listen to us and work on the above points. A Yamaha Fan Boy.
